Matt Millen: Hypocrite of the Week

 

During the Monday Night Football pre-game show, Stuart Scott, Steve Young, and Matt Millen were discussing the Vikings debacle and the firing of Brad Childress. Steve Young is of the opinion that Brad Childress is at fault for his own fate as he’s run that team into the ground and allowed all the BS to occur as he pandered to Favre and lost all respect and credibility in the locker room.

Matt Millen, the worst executive in the history of the NFL, thought it would be a good idea to scold the Hall of Fame QB because as he told Steve, “You have no freakin’ idea what goes on in that locker room, you just don’t!”

Now I may be out of line here, but ummm… WTF does Matt Millen know about running an NFL franchise? He literally stole money from the Ford family as he ran the Detroit Lions into the ground and so far deep into a hole that they have yet to dig themselves out. Matt Millen is easily the worst NFL executive in the history of the league and probably the worst executive in the history of sports!

This is easily the most hypocritical comment I’ve heard not only this week but in quite some time. Millen is not only going to go on television and act like he knows how to run a franchise, but he went so far as to literally scream at Steve Young and scold him by saying he didn’t know what he’s talking about. If ANYONE doesn’t know WTF they’re talking about has ZERO room to say anything about how an NFL team is run, it’s Matt Millen.
